Day of Action

 On June 21, as part of United Way Silicon Valley's Day of Action, hundreds of volunteers from corporate partners distributed information cards for free prescription drug discounts and 2-1-1, a free, non-emergency, telephone service that connects people with hundreds of community services.  Volunteers gave information cards to people at 25 locations throughout Santa Clara County. 

Special thank you to Target for sponsoring Day of Action, which is a part of United Way's new LIVE UNITED campaign and serves as a call-to-action for people to come together in a collective effort to make needed changes in our community.
