Because of you...
United Way can support programs that help children receive quality, early childhood care and education. In just six months, for example, 465 kids received specialized child care to ensure they are on track to be socially and emotionally ready for kindergarten. Research shows that children who enter kindergarten ready to learn increase their chances of graduating high school, participating in post-secondary education, and obtaining employment that provides financial stability and independence.

Because of you...
177 pre-school-aged children without health insurance received free/low-cost dental care, in just a six-month period. For children with toothaches it’s difficult to concentrate. They can fall behind in their early childhood education. Thank you for recognizing that all children should have access to healthcare. Children without it may reduce their kindergarten readiness.
